So much has been said of the life of Steve Jobs due to the unprecedented popularity of the Apple Computers as a result of his perseverance and passion in creating products that the whole world will appreciate and be happy about. He possessed the ability to look forward to the future and make innovations in modern technology. He was a rare and ordinary individual who built a multi-million dollar business from selling assembled computers in his garage with Steve Wozniak. His business acumen revolutionized the computer industry and the world recognizes his magic hands in the success of the Apple Computers.

Steve Jobs had the passion and dedication which made him excel and become a legend. He was neither a scientist nor an engineer but he was a genius in accomplishing something through his intuition for products that will be readily acceptable by the public. Steve Jobs was not perfect but he expected very high standards of perfection from Apple employees that would consistently work in favor of the company. He was an autocratic ruler with an aggressive personality who reinvented the world’s music industry with the iPod and the mobile devices through the iPhone. These are the legacies of Steve Jobs which fascinated the world of technology.

The death of Steve Jobs is not only a loss to Apple but to the whole world who grieves the passing of a genius and innovator. With every Apple computer, the world would remember the man who, because of his persistence and ambition, created a tool of communication to benefit mankind. His convictions produced designs for consumer products that people would respond to. His creativity left a mark on the Apple computers with the idea that computers can be used by everybody without the need to be an experienced professional. He was not easy to work with but he became an inspiration of human creativity.

Until now, the health problems that Steve Jobs endured had remained private despite his public personality. His success did not extend to his health and even the best medicine that the field of modern science can provide did not save the person of Steve Jobs. After his resignation from being the CEO of Apple, everyone realized that he was losing his battle with cancer and his death was inevitable. In spite all his remarkable inventions and future visions, Steve Jobs was not spared of the dreaded cancer disease because he was also a mortal like all of us. We respect Steve Jobs for not turning his illness into a public spectacle but kept the personal information privately. After the demise of Steve Jobs, we now ask the question on who will be the next to follow his footsteps as the visionary with exemplary skill of changing technology.

Best Dictionary iPhone Apps

Posted by kevin under Uncategorized on Monday Oct 3, 2011

Dictionaries are important in our daily lives. Whether we are in school or at work, there are times when the need to know the meaning of a certain word is a necessity. Pocket dictionaries are created to help but they can be inconvenient to use oftentimes now that the world is into smart phones. With the many available dictionary apps for iPhone, one can definitely enrich their vocabulary at anytime whether on the go or just simply at home.

The best dictionary iPhone apps are ones that provide easy to use interface. Just a few letters to key in and you will be shown the different options of words to choose from. There are even apps that will provide you features such as the correct pronunciation, the different synonyms for a particular word, as well as its antonyms, and there are also dictionary apps that can show you the correct usage of words when constructing a sentence. That is how easy life can be when you can have a dictionary app for your iPhone. Anywhere you go, you can access it. Plus, you don’t have to carry around books and flip on pages to find the right words. Simply type in the word and instantly, you will be shown with its meaning.

Best App to Autocorrect Words

Posted by kevin under Uncategorized on Thursday Sep 29, 2011

For iPhone, or iPad users, they would definitely want to turn off the auto-correct feature of the device. It can be annoying for them at times when they try to type a certain word, but then the device could not recognize it, and they end up with a different word from the one that they are actually thinking of typing. Then they would have to erase the word that they formed.  It can really be annoying to many users especially when they are in a hurry sending an SMS. On the other hand, for those who like their auto-correct feature turned on, they would be a little bit frustrated because their words don’t appear on the list (especially if one is involved in difficult medical terminologies).

Luckily, the new app is in town which can definitely make users want to have the auto-correct feature enabled. The AutoCorrector ($0.99) is the app designed for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch users who may want to like the autocorrect feature turned on. With this app, one can just simply add the desired words into the device’s vocabulary, and even add some acronyms and slang words! This is one solution to many users’ autocorrect problems. Sometimes, the device cannot recognize unfamiliar names unless one goes by the name of Mark or John, which is such a common name. With AutoCorrector, one can enter a name that is not familiar with the device’s vocabulary and have that name automatically typed in. Not all of the words are detected by the device, whether it’s a name of a place or of a certain person. One can also key in the name of the town he or she lives in so the device can automatically detect the word and not substitute it for another word or even phrase.

This AutoCorrector app is a genius development for all iPod, iPhone, and iPad users. It may also do away with the embarrassment of typographical errors. Too bad, iOS does not allow users to setup some curse words, but other than that, this app can be a great tool to autocorrect many unfamiliar words all in all.
